Transfer to Kruja
Pick up from a central location in Tirana. Perched 600 meters above sea level on a panoramic mountain, Kruja is a city steeped in history. Once the capital of Albanopolis and later the Principality of Arbër, it is most renowned as the stronghold of national hero Gjergj Kastrioti Skanderbeg, who famously resisted the Ottoman Empire for decades.

Guided visit of the museums inside the castle
Upon arrival in Kruja, we begin our exploration at the hilltop castle, dating back to the 6th – 7th centuries and later restored by both the Byzantines and Ottomans.
We will visit two outstanding museums: the National Ethnographic Museum, showcasing everyday life in Albania’s past, and the Gjergj Kastrioti Skanderbeg Museum, which brings to life the heroic legacy of Albania’s most revered leader.

Guided walk along the old bazaar
Afterwards, we will stroll along the charming 400-year-old bazaar, where artisans still craft traditional items by hand.

Traditional Workshop visit
We will end the tour of Kruja with the visit of a local workshop to observe wool processing and the making parts of Albanian folk costumes.

Transfer back to Tirana
After some free time to wander along the bazaar, transfer to Tirana.
