Guided Walk around the Roman Forum
The tour of Durrës begins with the guided visit of the ruins of the market complex of the Late Roman and Early Byzantine eras. It represented a space intended for more formal activities and was most likely a Forum, comparable with the Curved Forum at Constantinople.

Visit of the “Peeping tourists” exhibition
This visit is a journey through the history of the Albanian tourism during the communist era. Through artefacts, memories, experiences it offers a comprehensive exploration of the role of the state-run tourist agency, Albtourist, and the evolution of travel in Albania.

Visit of the Roman Amphitheatre
It is one of the greatest monuments of antiquity in Albania, built in the first decades of the 2nd century, probably during the reign of the Roman Emperor Hadrian. Unlike other amphitheatres of that time, it is built partly into an existing hill, and partly on level ground, overlooking the main part of town.

Visit of the Venetian Tower
This is an integral part of the Byzantine fortress of Durrës, once regarded as one of the most formidable defence structures along the western coast of the Adriatic Sea. In 2022-2023 the Venetian Tower was renovated and transformed into the first Albanian Heritage Interpretation Centre and now offers visitors the chance to explore historical events and places through state-of-the-art digital and multimedia tools.

Pickup for the optional private transfer is available from your hotel or another address of your choice, provided it lies no more than 3 km from Tirana city centre. You will be returned to the same address at the end of the tour.
